Don’t Miss a Beat with Disconnected Image Capture!

If your internet connection is down, or gGastro® is unavailable for some other reason, your procedures can continue as scheduled.  With Disconnected Image Capture, you can capture images and store them until gGastro® becomes available. Then, securely import them into the patient’s service.

Please Note: Before you can follow the steps below, you must install Disconnected Image Capture on each workstation that will capture images during a procedure.  Click here for the installation files and here for the install instructions (within the Video Capture Setup document).

Protect Your Service Note Content with AUTO-LOCK

gGastro® service notes are dynamic, and capable of incorporating changes made to a patient’s chart in various areas of the application.  This allows new information to be available immediately, but it may be an unwelcomed change in a service note.  Protect your service notes from unwanted, or unexpected changes by locking them.  The Auto-Lock feature is a great fail-safe for those instances where one may forget to lock the note. Discharge Instructions: Automatically Display Endoscopist Contact Info

By default, the GI Discharge Instructions template includes the section “Provider Emergency Contact.”  Ensure that the office phone number is configured for the endoscopist on the service note,  and it will default on the discharge instructions.  Now, if the patient, or their caretaker, have any questions or concerns after their procedure, they have the office phone number at their fingertips!

Reduce Faxing with Direct Messages!

Direct messages can save time and eliminate the need to send or receive multiple faxes to transmit patient information. The feature is accessible in multiple areas of the application, allowing you to send a Summary of Care CCDA or Transition of Care directly from the check out screen, service note, or within a new direct message.  Utilizing this feature may also assist in meeting MIPS measures!
