Issue Identified / Action Required: eCQM CMS2v13 — April 4, 2025

We are writing to make you aware of an important update regarding the Electronic Clinical Quality Measure (eCQM) CMS2v13: Depression Screening and Follow-Up Plan. Please disregard this communication if your practice does not use eCQM CMS2v13.

Recently, we became aware of an issue that may prevent Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ9) screening timestamps for eCQM CMS2v13 from aligning with the correct performance period during which the screening was conducted. Please note that this issue is unrelated to the previously identified issue which was resolved with a system update on Sunday, March 23, 2025. This weekend’s upgrade to gGastro v.6.4 on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 12:01 AM – 8:00 AM Eastern Time (ET), will include an important fix to the logic of eCQM CMS2v13.

Action Required

If you plan to submit eCQM CMS2v13 before the new 2024 MIPS Submission Deadline of Monday, April 14, 2025, at 8:00 PM ET,

or if you have already submitted this measure after the previous system update took place on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 8:00 AM ET, you must take action to ensure your submission reflects the corrected adjustments.

Please complete the following actions between Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 8:00 AM ET and Monday, April 14, 2025, at 8:00 PM ET:

  1. Review your dashboard
  2. Recalculate your submission report
  3. Resubmit your Quality Reporting Document Architecture (QRDA) file to the Quality Payment Program (QPP)

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our Support Team.

For questions related to the QPP, contact CMS at qpp.cms.gov or call 1-866-288-8292, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM ET.
