[EXPIRED] Patient Safety Alert: Action Recommended: Some Clinical Labs May Fail to Appear on the Change Healthcare-generated Lab Requisition Order Form – October 6, 2024

This is an important patient safety message impacting gGastro® cloud clients. Our team has identified a sporadically occurring issue causing some clinical labs to fail to appear on Change Healthcare-generated lab requisition order forms. The issue began on Sunday, October 6, 2024, with the upgrade to gGastro® version 6.3.2. Please note that clinical laboratory orders that are printed or faxed from gGastro are not impacted by this issue.

Action Recommended

We are working to correct this issue in a future release, currently planned for Sunday, October 20, 2024. Until we resolve this issue, please carefully review all outbound clinical lab orders placed on or after Sunday, October 6, 2024, to ensure a 1:1 match between the Change Healthcare-generated lab requisition forms and the gGastro order. If you identify any discrepancies, please add any missing clinical labs manually to the Change Healthcare-generated lab requisition.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause your practice. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we resolve this issue. If you have any questions regarding this notice, please contact our Support Team.
