We have been made aware of recent issues involving Change Healthcare that may impact outbound clinical lab ordering for a subset of gGastro® clients.
Issue #1: The Outbound Lab Ordering window now shows a blank screen. Updating your browser to the most current version, and updating the Cross Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) plug-in (uninstall, then reinstall), typically resolves this issue and removes the blank screen. In order to do this, you may need to clear your browser cache.
To update the CORS plug-in and remove the blank screen, please follow the instructions in the gGastro® Electronic Clinical Lab Orders (ECLO) Workflow manual.
Issue #2: The gGastro® order status in the Checkout Screen, PDF Lab Requisition that appears under Thumbnails, automatic linking of result to order, and closing of orders are not consistently updating in the gGastro® system.
Please note: The orders are being transmitted to Change Healthcare. In the interim, it may be workflow-advised to print a copy of the PDF requisition for your reference.
