We are writing to provide an important update on the cybersecurity issue affecting our third-party vendor, Change Healthcare (CHC), which began on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Since Monday, May 13, 2024, we have been working closely with CHC to restore all impacted clinical lab exchange services in gGastro® that negatively impacted functionality related to outbound electronic clinical lab ordering and inbound clinical results.
We are pleased to inform you that as of today, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, all lab exchange services impacted by the CHC cybersecurity issue have been fully restored.
You may now utilize the same workflows you used before Wednesday, February 21, 2024. No further action is required on your part unless services that were working prior to the outage are not performing as expected. If needed please contact our Support Team for further assistance.
Reminders
Now that clinical exchange lab services have been restored in gGastro, we would like to remind you of the following:
- Lab results from Wednesday, February 21, 2024, to the date of restoration will not electronically flow into your system.
- Initial results may not fully match due to orders needing to be sent electronically. Once you resume sending electronic orders, results will begin to follow the expected workflow.
