[EXPIRED] Patient Safety Alert: gGastro® Exception Error —Sunday, March 16, 2025

This is an important patient safety message impacting gGastro® clients. Our team has identified an issue in the “Plan” section of visit notes or procedure notes that began on Sunday, March 16, 2025, with gGastro version 6.3.7. Previous gGastro versions are not impacted.

As a result of this issue, an exception error may appear when navigating through the plan. Additionally, certain workflows (such as modifying orders added to the plan) may cause data to be lost when the note is signed.

Action Recommended

We are working to resolve this issue as swiftly as possible. In the meantime, please make note of the triggering workflow below and carefully scrutinize your visit and procedure notes.

  • Avoid special characters: When modifying an order that has already been added to a note, avoid the use of special characters (such as “:”, “@”, “#”, “&”, and “/” ).
  • Select an item from the user list: Orders selected from the preconfigured user list (even those featuring special characters) will not result in an exception error.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience. If you have any questions regarding this notice, please contact our Support Team
