Patient Safety Alert: Unable to Open a Service Document Error Messag

This is a patient safety message regarding service documents that may impact certain Modernizing Medicine Gastroenterology clients.

Our team identified and corrected an issue where, in some instances, users were unable to open signed service documents (e.g., office visit or procedure notes, letters, etc.) and, instead, received an exception error message.  Our team discovered that this exception error message was typically received in connection with patient records with a history of being merged.

This issue was fixed in gGastro® v. 4.72.1.4 for historical services and should not occur moving forward.

If your system has not yet been updated to v. 4.72.1.4, or later, please plan your upgrade as soon as possible.  You can schedule your upgrade appointment herePlease note: Clients on the gGastro® Cloud may have already received v. 4.72.1.4 in our most recent cloud update, deployed on January 9-10, 2021.

Modernizing Medicine Gastroenterology is committed to helping you deliver the safest care to all of your patients and we apologize for the inconvenience this may cause your practice. If you have any questions concerning this information, please contact our Support Team.
