ICD-10 Code Updates Take Effect on October 1, 2020

ICD-10 Code Updates Take Effect on October 1, 2020

Please be advised that CMS has released the 2021 ICD-10 codes to be used for discharges and patient encounters occurring between October 1, 2020 and September 30, 2021.  The 2021 updates to ICD-10 codes will take effect on Thursday, October 1, 2020.

We plan for the updated ICD-10 Codes to be available in gGastro® as of October 1, 2020. No version upgrade is required.

While database search results will reflect the updates, any codes that are manually configured in gGastro user lists, or other areas, must be manually changed to reflect the updated codes.
