Patient Safety Alert: Unable to Open a Service Document Error Message

This is a patient safety message regarding service documents that may impact certain Modernizing Medicine Gastroenterology clients.

We have recently determined that in some instances users are unable to open signed service documents (e.g., office visit or procedure notes, letters, etc.) and receive the following particular error message:

If you encounter this particular error when attempting to open a signed document, the service will need to be unlocked/unsigned and then relocked/resigned by following the steps outlined below:

1.  Unlock the documents:

Please note, the act of unlocking/unsigning a service document will cause the document to refresh with the most recent patient profile data before it is relocked/resigned. 

2. Re-sign the documents:

Our analysis suggests this error is sporadic and uncommon. To obtain a list of documents in your practice that may have been impacted so that you may address this issue proactively, please contact gSupport@modmed.com.
