[EXPIRED] New “Manage 3rd-Party FHIR Apps” Feature Now Available in gGastro® – Action Required

With the release of gGastro® version 6.3.0 on Sunday, August 25, 2024, all gGastro cloud clients, as well as gGastro clients with on-prem servers with the FHIR API enabled, can now access the new “Manage 3rd-Party FHIR Apps” feature within gGastro.

Located on the “Configuration Main Page”, this feature enables practice-level users with appropriate permissions to authorize connections with third-party vendor applications using Bulk FHIR functionality.

To comply with one of the HTI-1 Final Rule requirements, the “General” tab within this feature displays practice-level information for each FHIR Endpoint (environment) to be publicly published at the end of 2024 on the gGastro Account FHIR Endpoints website and function as a searchable directory. Please scroll down to the “Gastro Account FHIR Endpoints” section of the website.

We have imported your practice name, location (address) and unique identifier (Group NPI) for every active FHIR endpoint from a Business Unit within your practice’s environment to display within this feature, per HTI-1 Final Rule requirements.

Action Required
We require/request that you review your practice’s information displayed within the “Manage 3rd-Party FHIR Apps” feature and make any updates as soon as possible. This will ensure that your practice’s desired information is included when it is published at the end of 2024 on the gGastro Account FHIR Endpoints website.

Screenshots are included below for your reference:

Please note: All fields except “Address 2” are required. Information displayed in the “Endpoint” field is not editable. Modifications to any information shown on this screen will not alter Business Unit information. This information will only be used in the gGastro Account FHIR Endpoints publicly-accessible directory.

Should you have any questions regarding the new “Manage 3rd-Party FHIR Apps” feature, please contact our Support Team.
