[EXPIRED] Important Update Concerning the Impact of a Windows Update by CrowdStrike — July 19, 2024

We are writing to inform you that CrowdStrike, a Cybersecurity technology company, released an update that caused a defect to impact Windows hosts. Per CrowdStrike’s statement, this is not a security incident or cyberattack. The issue has been identified and isolated, and a fix has been deployed. Note: gGastro® has not been directly impacted by this event but your underlying systems and those of third-party vendors may be. Until the CrowdStrike fix takes effect, please consult with your IT teams and consultants to determine the best workable solutions for your practice.

We are actively monitoring the situation and plan to communicate with you again when CrowdStrike provides more information, specifically if applicable to the gGastro ecosystem. In the meantime, CrowdStrike encourages customers to refer to its support portal for the latest updates.
