Follow-up / Action Recommended: Limited Functionality — Outbound Electronic Clinical Lab Ordering & Inbound Clinical Results via Change Healthcare — February 21, 2024

This is a follow-up to our earlier communication regarding limited functionality with outbound electronic clinical lab ordering and inbound clinical results via Change Healthcare. Change Healthcare continues to experience limited functionality. We are working closely with this vendor as they seek to resolve the issue. 

Action Recommended

If you are currently experiencing exception errors within gGastro®, please contact our Support Team so that we can address these errors by temporarily turning off this vendor integration. 

Please note: While this integration is disabled, certain features will be temporarily unavailable. 

  • Lab orders must be printed and distributed to patients via paper copy. Digital copies will be available for distribution once Change Healthcare resolves this issue and integration connectivity is restored. 
  • Clinical lab results (delivered by Change Healthcare) will not be received through the interface while the application is down but will resume when the integration connectivity is restored. Please access labs through your vendor portal or by contacting the lab directly in the interim.
