Benefit:
You can modify the wording of findings associated with previous diagnostic studies in the patient’s profile, without having to modify signed/locked documents.
STEP 1
Link a diagnostic study within the pathology result.
*The diagnostic study may be automatically linked if your practice is using a Bidirectional Pathology interface.*
STEP 2
Click the ellipsis in the diagnostic studies section, update the wording in the popup, as needed, and then click Save.
**This can also be done from the Diagnostic Studies section in the Patient Profile or Visit Note.**
STEP 3
The updated wording will appear in all future visit notes and documents where the Diagnostic Studies section is displayed.
