The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Outpatient and Ambulatory Surgery Systems (OAS CAHPS) is a survey implemented by CMS to report on and evaluate patient healthcare experiences. This survey is mandatory for all ASCs.
ModMed® assists in the transmission of data to your CAHPS vendor by allowing you to customize and generate a comma-delimited file using a backend tool. As an EMR vendor, ModMed® is responsible for providing the data file. It is the responsibility of the survey vendor to manipulate the data if needed, apply filters and special conditions, and work with you to handle blank fields and defaults. Once generated, your practice may massage the data into any format that is required.
