Informative Webinar – 2021 E/M Changes Effective January 1, 2021

Modernizing Medicine Gastroenterology has developed and will be implementing updates to our systems to help provide the tools you need to navigate the changing rules in relationship to the 2021 E/M changes effective January 1, 2021.

In order to assist your practice in adjusting to these changes, Modernizing Medicine has made a number of important updates to our suggested coding function to align with this new billing methodology. At a high level, these updates include coding changes and modifications to the suggested coding function using criteria that allows billing by total time spent during the date of the encounter (Time) or by level of medical decision making (MDM).
