We are writing to inform you about Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Quality Reporting changes in 2023, which will impact ModMed®’s ASC or endoscopy center clients who use gGastro® or ModMed® ASC to document and/or generate their procedure documentation.
Please review the below best practice workflow tips to ensure you are capturing data correctly as of January 1, 2023 and to simplify data reporting in 2024.
Background
In previous years, your ASC used claims-based reporting for ASC measures 1, 2, 3, and 4. In 2023, data collection on these measures, beginning with date of service (DOS) January 1, 2023, will require these data points to be reported via web-based reporting (similar to how you are reporting ASC 9, 11, 13 and 14).
The fields to collect the data are currently available in gGastro and ModMed ASC.
