2022 MIPS: Immunizations Reporting Deadline Fast Approaching

If your providers do not administer immunizations, you can disregard this message.

This is a follow-up to the communication we sent to you on September 30, 2022, making you aware that we have a new solution for providers who administer immunizations.

On Monday, October 3, 2022, ModMed®’s partnership with Iron Bridge Corp. launched as a solution for submitting immunization data to each state registry, in order to meet the required 2022 Immunization Registry Reporting measure, under the Promoting Interoperability category of MIPS.

Immunization Registry Reporting requires that the MIPS-eligible clinician is in active engagement with a Public Health Agency (PHA) to submit immunization data and receive immunization forecasts and histories from the public health Immunization Registry and the Immunization Information Systems (IIS). Active engagement with the immunization data must be achieved within 60 days after the start of your selected MIPS PI performance period. If you require establishing active engagement with an immunizations registry, you must begin the process no later than November 15, 2022, so we can complete the steps of the onboarding process at ModMed, in time to meet the MIPS deadline specified above.

Please follow these steps to begin the onboarding process with Iron Bridge Corp.:

  1. Fill out this form
  2. The Point of Contact entered on the above form will receive an order form via the email address provided for your review and signature.
  3. A Project Coordinator from ModMed will contact you once all parties have signed the order form, and will provide further instructions for completing the onboarding process and to begin submitting immunizations to your state’s registry.
