Patient Safety Alert: Issue Identified: HL-7 Results Delivered via Task

Dear Valued Clients:

This is an important patient safety message for all gGastro® users, regarding an issue involving HL-7 results, which are delivered to the user via a Task. When opening the Task, it is opening in “Document View” instead of “Task View”. This can cause confusion around the data entry when interacting with the Task. Please note: No information is lost.

Below are screenshots to reference the visible difference between the “Document View” and “Task View” panes:

“Document View”:

“Task View”:

Other items delivered via Tasks (such as scans, faxes or non-HL-7 results) are not impacted.

We plan to address this issue in an upcoming release of gGastro.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause your practice. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work through this issue.
