The primary focus of release 4.57 has been on performance and robustness. Our team of engineers and quality assurance specialists focused on researching and optimizing many areas of gGastro to increase the response turnaround of the application. As a result of this undertaking, we anticipate to see significantly faster speed of navigation in certain areas of the system. Please keep in mind that overall application performance depends on many factors, including hardware, network, software updates, etc.
New Functionality Added to Template Builder:
For those of you who have already had a chance to use the template builder in version 4.55 or 4.56, you must know how quick and easy it is to use. gGastro version 4.57 brings further efficiencies and features for your benefit.
Required sections: You can now determine for each template to require one or more sections to be documented prior to the document signing. This can help you drive compliance and make sure that core documentation points, such as HPI, Indications, Plan, Findings, etc. are consistently documented across all encounters.
Letters can also be customized through the template builder now.
Export and import of templates is also available in this release. This great feature will allow you to share templates with your colleagues or to easily transfer templates between your test and live environments with a click of a button. It will also allow gMed to share more templates with you in the future. Keep in mind this feature will only apply to templates created with the new template builder functionality.
Some other new features include:
- Configuration of different staff members to be able to sign the notes (e.g. anesthesiologist, technician, etc.)
- Configuration of secondary service roles
